L7805 three terminal positive regulators are available in the TO-220 package and with 5V output voltage.If adequate heat sinking is provided, they can deliver over 1A output current.
- Typical Output Voltage:5V
- Typical Short Circuit Current:230mA
I bought just 2 of this regulator from this site on 16.09.2014.
Among them one gives 4.3 volts on it's output.
Another gives nothing(it's dead).
I know what I am saying....
So, please check your lot.
I think you will get some clues...
I have already disposed them of.
Actually returning is not a solution. It really eats up a lot of time buying things online. Returning will eat some more.
So I bought some from the local market.
__please be careful about quality__
But I bought another from local shop, that gives 5 more volts output.
